Kimberley is in the far north of Western Australia and offers spectacular scenery and a diverse and almost tropical heat. The best time to travel to the Kimberley is from April to September when the weather isn't at its hottest, and before the storms have started. Kununurra which is situated to the east of the Kimberley’s holds many wonders to be enjoyed!
 
The immense freshwater lake formed by the damming of the mighty Ord River has created an amazing marine environment which now offers a wide range of adventures and activities. There is plenty to see and do in and around the lake with its countless islands, bays and beaches and because the lake is so huge it is classed as an inland sea. There are up to 70 islands to explore and endless hidden bays to discover. You can launch your own boat at the boat ramp and spend days exploring the lake, waterskiing, canoeing and fishing in the Kimberley’s is amazing with some great cruises and charters easily arranged while you are here for before you arrive.
