Getting to Heron Island is easy, with daily flights arriving into Gladstone where a courtesy bus can transport you to the harbour terminal for you to board you boat which will take you to the island. There are also many coach and train services that run up and down the Capricorn Coast and do regular stops at Gladstone for you to get on off your means of transportation.
